Our Dualfuel Bottle
Our DualFuel Bottle has been designed for efficient and safer fuelling on the move.
If you have individual gel portions you can dispense these directly into the pouch, the pouch then screws into the base of the lid. (The pouch can hold up to 120ml (4 fl oz)).
Fill the bottle with your choice of fluid to the easy-to-read fill markers on the side of the bottle:- the top marker if you are using one portion of gel, or the lower marker if you are using two portions of gel.
Screw the lid with the pouch connected onto the bottle as normal and you are good to go. The switch mechanism has been designed to show clearly which compartment the bottle is set to – especially important when you are on the move. The nozzle works in the familiar up or down motion to open or close the valve and is shaped to be both ergonomic and comfortable.
The bottle can be purchased in two sizes; the larger 750ml (25 fl oz) or the smaller 550ml (18 fl oz).
After use, simply unscrew the lid and pouch. The bottle and lid can be cleaned either by hand or through a dishwasher (the pouch is best cleaned by hand). The opening has been designed as wide as possible to allow most tap heads to fit inside. Being a soft-flexible material the pouch is best cleaned using warm water and rubbing any excess gel out.
For a deep clean the lid and mechanisms have been designed to fully dissemble. This is carried out by depressing the two prongs underneath the lid and pushing the components upwards.

This can be mounted to a variety of items including a bike frame, hydration pack/rucksack or worn on a belt. It is also easy to attach to your person using the elasticated strap provided. This means it is suitable for any situation from competing in Triathlon to hiking around your local park.
It’s comfortable and lightweight the flask can be filled with your choice of hydration or energy gels dependant on your needs.
The flask easily detaches from the mount. There is a choice of a 150ml or 250ml flasks.

Q: What materials are used?
A: We use food grade plastics for both the bottle, lid, mechanisms and pouch, also these are all BPA free.
Q: Can I use anything other than gels in the pouch?
A: Yes, it will work with other liquids and gels or even things like Bicarb solutions if required.
Q: What if I want to use the bottle without the pouch?
A: This is no problem, as the bottle will work perfectly well without the pouch and you won’t need to use the switch.
Q: Can I clean it in a dishwasher?
A: The bottle and lid can be cleaned in a dishwasher, but it is not recommended that the pouch is put through a dishwasher cycle. This is due to the heat it will experience, which may adversely affect the bonding.
Q: How long will the pouch last?
A: In theory the pouch should last the life of the bottle, it isn’t as robust as the bottle but because it is an internal component it shouldn’t suffer from any knocks / drops etc.
Q: Can I get spares?
A: Yes, we will be selling the pouches separately.

Q: Why does it only come in 150ml and 250ml sizes?
A: Anything larger would become too uncomfortable to carry/wear we are not aiming at replacing other ways of carrying soft flasks but a niche way of efficiently fuelling on the move for many activities
Q: Can the pouch be cleaned in a dishwasher?
A: Yes absolutely
Q: What activities is this designed for use in?
A: Anything that requires you to need to hydrate or fuel especially if you need to keep your hands free. Can be used in combination with other methods of carrying supplies.
Q: Can I use my preferred brands of nutrition with this and the bottle?
A: Yes the systems are designed to work with any energy gel products on the market.

Q: What is the cost savings over a typical single portion gel packet?
A: The cost savings if you use a lot of products are huge, generally you’ll be saving over half the cost of a premade gel with the bonus of cutting down on packaging and waste.
Q: Are the nutritional and carbohydrate levels the same as the competition?
A: Yes, the pre-mix has the same ingredients as most the products available and in the ratio of carbohydrate and fructose that is proven to work.
Q: Do you offer different flavours?
A: Our gel mix comes in Neutral as well as Lemon and Lime; this means you don’t suffer flavour ‘fatigue’ but also enables you to customize and add your own flavours to taste (we offer a guide on this).
Q: How do I know how much water to add to get the correct consistency?
A: In all honesty this is a bit of trial and error, we give a guide on the sachets, but you can decide on how viscous or not you want the energy gel.
Q: What is the shelf life of the powder?
A: If unopened in theory it will last years as it is a dry powder, once opened you’d probably want to mix it and use it within a few months. When mixed with water and turned into the gel it is advised to consume within a week making and should be kept refrigerated.
